On Saturday March 1, 2014, Dallas Police and Dallas Fire employees competed for the Glenn Carter Safety Challenge trophy is named in honor of one of the founders of the Trinity River Levee Run held annually in Dallas. The race is a sub-event of the Trinity River Levee Run and pits the two city departments against one another in friendly competition.
As of the running of the 2014 race, Dallas Fire Rescue personnel had won the trophy the last 3 years in a row. Could the Dallas police officers beat the fire fighters this year and reclaim the trophy? Check out the video to find out!
