The Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and occupants in the video linked below.

On March 9, 2014, at about 3:00 a.m., Jose Hernandez-Ibarra L/m/1-6-1976 was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Taqueria El Paisano restaurant, located at 2911 Lombardy Lane. Shortly before the shooting, a light colored compact vehicle can be seen on video, driving to the rear of the parking lot where Mr. Hernandez was shot. Witnesses observed this vehicle leaving the scene immediately after the shooting. The video shows the vehicle entering the parking lot of the restaurant shortly before the offense occurred.

The vehicle and its occupants may have knowledge of or involvement in the murder. The murder offense is documented on case #55941-B.
