On March 17, 2014, Dallas police officers were dispatched to the Intersection of Park Lane and Dalecrest Drive on a major disturbance. Officers found that a child had reported “a man tried to take me” and that witnesses had chased the suspect from the area.
After setting up a perimeter and conducting a search, patrol officers took Rodriguez, David Vincent, L/M/05/04/1972 into custody.
Arrestee Rodriguez has also been identified as a suspect in an Indecency with a Child Offense that occurred on March 15, 2014 in the 2200 Block of S. Buckner Blvd.
At this time, the arrestee has been charged with a Hold for Arlington PD warrants, Aggravated Kidnapping (Service #63512-B) and Indecency with a Child (Service #61866-B).
As in all cases of this type, the investigation will include a review for any related offenses.
Potential child victims must be forensically interviewed before a formal case can be filed against the arrestee. At this time our investigation is continuing and we request that the arrestee’s photo not be published pending the outcome of our interviews and line-ups.
