On April 6, 2014, the One Stop Smoke Shop, located at 8235 Scyene Road, was robbed by multiple armed suspects who entered the business and ordered everyone to lie down while their property was taken. This is the first of three separate offenses to occur at this location. During this particular incident, one of the suspects ordered an employee to empty his pockets and took his property. Two additional suspects entered the business and helped gather property. This incident was captured on surveillance video. Below are still shots from that video. One of the suspects is described as a Black male, 5’8”, 150 lbs. This suspect had possible paint on his face and wore a black baseball cap and black work coveralls. A second suspect is described as a Black male, 5’8”, 200lbs, wearing a large brown hooded jacket, blue basketball shorts, and a mask. There are believed to be two additional suspects, but no descriptions available for them. This Aggravated Robbery offense is reported on service number 81050-B.

On April 14, 2014, a second Aggravated Robbery occurred at the same One Stop Smoke Shop. During the commission of this robbery, the suspects, pictured below, entered at approximately 6:00 am. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. A second suspect gathered the cash and several packs of cigarettes. The suspects theb fled in a blue or purple, 4-door 1999 model Mercury with a third suspect as the driver. This Aggravated Robbery offense is documented on service number 88107-B.

The first suspect is described as a Latin male in his 30s, 5’8’, 200 lbs. The second suspect is a Latin male, about 27 years old, 6’00”, 200 lbs, with a goatee and wearing prescription glasses. The third suspect is described as a Latin male, 25 years old, 5’8”, 200 lbs, with a goatee. The suspects had been in the business earlier in the day and attempted to get a phone number from the witness, who is an employee. Surveillance photos seen below are from when the suspects were in the business earlier.  

On April 15, 2014, at about 6:15 am, the suspects pictured below forced entry into the One Stop Smoke Shop by displaying a handgun and ordering employees to lie on the floor. The second suspect began gathering cash and property. The suspects then exited the location and fled. A witness looked outside and observed a tan 4-door Buick with possible 22” silver rims sped away from the location. However, the witness did not observe the suspects entering the vehicle.  One of the suspects in this incident is described as a Black male, 20s, 5’10”, weighing about 240 lbs. The second suspect is a Black male in his 20s, 6’0”, and weighing about 200 lbs. This is the third offense at the location since April 6, 2014, and has not been connected to the previous two offenses at this time.

This Aggravated Robbery is document on Service Number 89020-B.    The suspects in all three cases are considered armed and dangerous.
