UPDATE:  CRITICAL MISSING PERSON YATES HAS BEEN LOCATED UNINJURED.

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 48 year old critically missing person. On May 24, 2014, Mr. John Howard Yates made suicidal threats and then left his residence near 10200 San Lorenzo in a green 1997 Dodge Ram regular cab truck with Texas license plate AA3-5492. Mr. Yates is a W/M/05/07/1966. He is 5’10” 195 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. Mr. Yates has barbed wire tattoos on both biceps and “YATES” tattooed across his back.

Mr. Yates may be armed with a butcher knife and should be considered dangerous if located.
