Westleigh Bateman

On June 1, 2014, patrol officers responded to a call in the Northeast area of Dallas regarding the sexual abuse of a juvenile male child by Westleigh Bateman, W/M/24, 6/30/89. Suspect Bateman is a family friend and the victim was spending the night with the suspect. During the night, the suspect sexually assaulted the male juvenile.

The suspect was interviewed at the Child Exploitation office and then placed in Lew Sterrett jail for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child which is a 1st Degree Felony. The offense was filed on case # 132565-2014. The suspect is a registered sex offender from East Texas.
