On June 5, 2014, at approximately 9:15 pm, the two victims, along with two witnesses, were at the Alon gas station located in the 9600 block of Scyene Road when unknown suspects from a nearby vehicle fired multiple shots in the direction of the victims. The 16 year old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the right thigh and was transported to Baylor hospital. He is currently in stable condition.

The 9 year old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to Children’s hospital and is also in stable condition. The 9 year old was walking into the gas station with his father when he was struck. The 9 year old victim appears to be an innocent bystander at this time.

There are no suspect descriptions available. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored Ford Crown Vic or Mercury Grand Marquis. A second suspect vehicle may also be involved and that car is described as a lighter colored four door sedan.
