Today, On June 6, 2014 detectives met with the mother of a 16 year old juvenile who attends Sunset High School. The mother had found out that her daughter had been having an intimate relationship with suspect Rolando Vasquez L/m/50. Mr. Vasquez is a teacher’s assistant who teaches Special Education at Sunset High School.
The juvenile was interviewed at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and confirmed that she has been intimate with the suspect for at least 6 months. The suspect was arrested and transported to Lew Sterrett Justice Center. He is being charged with Sexual Assault which is a 2nd Degree felony. The case numbers for the offenses are 136076-2014 and 136876-2014 .
