Ladarius Scott 

On June 19, 2014 a person called Dallas police about a man named Ladarius Scott.  Ladarius, a black male with a date of birth of 01/02/1995, was being investigated for several offenses that were possibly gang related.

Officers received a tip as to Ladarius’ location so plain clothes and uniformed officers were dispatched to the area. The officers who responded found him and relayed that information to Northeast Division officers.  Those officers followed Ladarius as he drove into the city of Mesquite.

The Mesquite Police and the Texas Department of Public Safety were notified and assisted Dallas police officers with a felony traffic stop in the 4700 block of San Marcus Drive in Mesquite. During that stop Ladarius was taken into custody without incident.

He was transported to Dallas police headquarters where he was interviewed by Det. Jarc with the Gang Unit regarding recent gang related offenses.  Ladarius Scott is currently in the Dallas County Jail charged with Aggravated Robbery documented on case number 128868-B, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault documented on case numbers 12593-B, and 126050-B.

Ladarius is a member of the TYB gang which operates in the Northeast Division, the Dallas Police Department’s Metro Unit had been looking for him for some time. Ladarius’ criminal associate, Peter Young, was also apprehended over the weekend.
