A business hold alarm was activated at GO Federal Credit Union, located at 5429 LBJ freeway on June 20, 2014, at approximately 2:28am. Officers arrived at the location and observed a maroon Dodge p/u speeding away from the scene. Officers attempted to follow, but lost sight of the suspect vehicle as it fled east bound Alpha Road, where a ski mask was recovered near the 5300 block of Alpha Road.
Suspects used a bobcat construction tractor to knock the ATM off its base, moving it approximately 50 feet into the parking lot. Suspects were unsuccessful in gaining access to the currency in the ATM. No video of the offense is available at this time. A person from the establishment was able to provide still images of the offense taken from the ATM’s internal camera.
