CAPTURED: Wanted For Murder – Damond Williams

UPDATE:  Murder Suspect Demond Williams was apprehended in the early morning hours by South Central Patrol officers.  Officers received information that Suspect Williams was scene at a residence in the 1500 block of E. Overton Road.  Suspect Williams was spotted by officers and after a short pursuit, he was apprehended without incident at Fernwood and Overton.  Suspect Williams was transported to police headquarters where he was interviewed by Homicide detectives.  Suspect Williams was wanted for the Murder that occurred at the Little World convenience store located at 4600 Malcolm X Boulevard.  He gave detectives a statement and is now in Lew Sterrett Justice Center for the outstanding Murder Warrant.

The Dallas Police Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s help with locating Damond Williams. Damond Williams, B/M/6-17-96, is wanted for the murder of Bobby Ervin which occurred on June 2, 2014, at about 10:30 pm in the parking lot of the “Little World” convenience store in the 4800 block of Malcolm X Boulevard. 

Bobby Ervin was shot and killed after a verbal altercation with a suspect, later identified as Williams. Williams is currently at large. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
