On August 19, 2014, at about 7:30 pm, Homicide detectives responded to the shooting at a motel in the 2300 block of W. Northwest Highway. The victim, Josefine Griggs, a 33 year old Latin female, was involved in a verbal altercation with her boyfriend in the hallway of the motel, when he shot her multiple times causing her death. The suspect then fled the location and is currently at large. The suspect has been identified as Martin Duque Reyes, Latin male 03/23/1978.
