On August 11, 2014, at approximately 2:26pm, Suspect Bryan Bradley, B/M/ 03/31/93, shot and killed Demariea English with a firearm at 11611 Ferguson Road. The victim was admitted and listed in critical condition at the hospital. On August 12, 2014, the victim was pronounced deceased from the injuries he received from the gunshot wound. As a result, an Affidavit for Arrest Warrant for First Degree Murder as been issued for Suspect Byron Bradley. Suspect Bradley is currently at large.
On August 11, 2014, a witnesses and the victim were all riding together heading to the Honey Creek Apartments on Ferguson Road to meet with Suspect Bradley, who was known to them at the time as “Killer B”. The victim and Bradley had been involved in a verbal disagreement over money and were meeting up in hopes to bring their issues to a peaceful resolution or fight it out.
Shortly after arriving to the apartment complex, Suspect Bradley walked up to the car where the victim was sitting front passenger and told him to get out. According to a witness, the victim told Suspect Bradley that he was going to get out in a minutes. Suspect Bradley then pulled a firearm and fired one shot, stricking the victim in the head. The same round also struck the witness in the wrist. The witness took evasive action and drove to a nearby store where emergency personnel responded.
During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to gain the true identity of the suspect to where witnesses were able to pick Suspect Bradley out of a photo line-up. Please see the affidavit below for more details.
