Today at about 10:04 AM, there was a vehicular collision between a Dallas police officer and a citizen at the intersection of Camp Wisdom Road and University Hills Boulevard.

Because of the early stage of the investigation, the cause of the accident has not been determined at this time. All that is known thus far is that the officer was traveling EB on Camp Wisdom Road in the center lane, and the citizen’s vehicle was traveling NB University Hills Boulevard in the center lane.   According to witnesses, when the two vehicles collided, the impact caused the squad car to roll over several times before coming to rest. Two male citizens were transported to Methodist Central Hospital in stable condition. The officer was transported to Baylor Hospital in good condition. This accident is still under investigation.
