Update: The Critical Missing Person, Jomasa Pereyra, has been found safe.  At approximately 2PM today, an employee at a business located in the 3000 block of Morrell Avenue spotted Ms. Pereyra walking across a field and notified police.  She was approximately 1.5 miles from where she was last seen.  Ms. Pereyra was taken to Methodist Hospital for precautionary reasons.

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Critical Missing 86-year-old female.

On September 25, 2014, at approximately 3:00pm, Ms. Jomasa Pereyra, Latin female 86 was last seen walking away from the 2500 block of East 11th Street wearing a gray or black shirt, gray or black belt, black pants and pink and white tennis shoes. She also walks with a cane. Jomasa Pereyra is 5’3’’ and weighs 160lbs, with brown eyes and grey hair in a ponytail.
