On Sunday, September 27, 2014, at approximately 9:20 pm., a walker was attacked on the “Katy Trail” at 3400 Blackburn Ave. While walking on the trail an African American male suspect jumped from the bushes and pushed her to the ground. The suspect then ripped the earphones from the complainant’s head and fled back into the bushes. The suspect is described as 5’9”, 250 lbs., large stomach, medium complexion, with 2 ½-inch Afro style hair. The suspect was wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering, black baggy pants, and black shoes. The posted document is a sketch of a possible suspect.

On September 27, 2014, at approximately 9:20 PM, The Dallas Police Department responded to a call on the Katy Trail. A female victim was walking on the trail and was approached by a suspect who was hiding behind some bushes. The suspect knocked the victim to the ground. The victim was able to fend off the suspect by kicking and screaming. The suspect did take property from the victim before he fled the location. The suspect is described as a black male 20-25 years of age, 5’8, and weighing 250 pounds with a short afro. The suspect was wearing a black shirt (with white lettering), black shorts, and black shoes.
