On October 24, 2014, at approximately 8:30 a.m. officers responded to a stabbing call at 400 N. Walton Walker Boulevard. The victim, Marietta Shaw, B/F/24, was found deceased inside her apartment with several stab wounds. A separate cutting call was made to Dallas Police at another location. The victim’s boyfriend, Quavize Jones B/M/28 was found at this location with cuts to his hands. After receiving medical treatment, Jones was interviewed at Dallas Police Headquarters by Homicide Detectives. As a result of this interview, Jones has been charged with murder and placed in jail on a $500,000 bond.
