Help Needed to Identify A Murder Suspect

Rico Lara UPDATE: On May 14, 2014 at approximately 7:15 A.M., victim Donald Kovar was shot and killed at 4639 Irving Boulevard.  Kovar was working as a security guard at the location, when Rico Lara H/M/10-26-83 and another suspect known only as “Primo” robbed the business.  During the robbery, Kovar was shot and killed.  Physical evidence collected from the scene links Lara to the crime.  Lara was also positively identified in a photo line-up as being involved in this offense.  Lara has been charged with Capital Murder with a $1,000,000.00 bond.  He is currently in jail on unrelated charges.  Please see the arrest affidavit below.

On May 15, 2014 at approximately 7:00 am, the pictured victim was killed during a robbery at 4639 Irving Boulevard, Dallas, Texas. The suspect is only known as “Primo” He is described as a Latin male 30-35 years old 6’0, and 200 lbs.  The suspect also has short dark hair, a goatee and moustache. A second suspect is described the same but only about 5’5 inches tall.

The Dallas Police Homicide Unit needs your help in identifying the suspect or suspects responsible.
