On February 13, 2013, the victim, Tommy Heads, was shot and killed in the 2300 block of South Beckley Avenue.  Mr. Heads and a friend were walking to their vehicle when they were approached by four males who demanded property.  During the course of the robbery, Mr. Heads was shot and killed.  On October 7, 2014, a witness to the murder was shown a photo line-up and positively identified Kadarius Barrett as the person who shot and killed Mr. Heads.  Barrett has been charged with murder with a $1,000,000.00 bond.  He is currently in jail on unrelated charges.
