Suspect of Aggravated Robbery Found Unresponsive

dpd-stock-photoOn January 13, 2015, at approximately 10:32 PM, two unknown black male suspects committed an Aggravated Robbery at 4400 San Jacinto Street.  The suspects robbed the victim at gun point and fled on foot.  The victim was not injured.

Officers initiated a search for the suspects in the area.  Two black males, matching the suspects’ description,  were observed in the area of 4700 Live Oak Street. One of the suspects was on the ground, unresponsive, and the other suspect was standing over him. Officers requested DFR for the unresponsive suspect and the other suspect fled and was not apprehended.  DFR transported the unresponsive suspect to Baylor hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The cause of death is pending an autopsy.

Detectives are attempting to obtain the deceased suspect’s identity. An Aggravated Robbery and an Unexplained Death were completed on case number 010119-2015.  This is an ongoing investigation.
