On January 26, 2015, at approximately 6:10 a.m., the victim Justice Hull, a 2 month old Black female, was intentionally drowned by a 14 year old Black female, who also resides in the same home. The suspect’s mother was caring for the infant and had just left for work when the offense occurred. Initial reports indicated that the suspect and the victim were related. Our investigation has found that the infant was not related to the suspect and had been placed in the home by Child Protective Services at the request of the biological mother. The biological mother of the infant victim is currently in jail and the infant has been in the home since shortly after her birth. 

The suspect has been charged with Capital Murder of a Person Under the Age of Ten, a First Degree Felony. She has been transported to and placed in the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center.
