On Saturday, February 7, 2015, at approximately 6:13 p.m., Dallas Police received a 911 call regarding a shooting at the apartment of Officer Larry Tuttle at 9750 Forest Lane. Officer Tuttle was a six year veteran and assigned to the South Central Patrol Division. Officer Tuttle was found deceased at the location by an apparent gunshot wound. Also, in the apartment was a female known to Officer Tuttle who was also deceased.  This incident is currently under investigation.
