Update March 13, 2015: Arrest Made in the Murder of Ahmed Al-Jumali
On Tuesday, March 10, 2015, a witness walked into the Richardson Police Department with information about the murder of Ahmed Al-Jumaili. Dallas Police Detectives spoke with the witness who revealed the nickname of the individual responsible for the murder. During the investigation, the suspect was identified as Nykerion Nealon, a 17-year-old Black male, birthday May, 24, 1997. Mr. Nealon was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters on Thursday, March 12, 2015 for questioning and subsequently arrested for the murder of Ahmed Al-Jumaili. Update:
The Dallas Police Department is releasing video of suspects believed to have been
involved in the murder of Ahmed Al-Jumaili that occurred March 4, 2015 at 9944 Walnut Street. The Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals in the video. On Wednesday March 4, 2015, approximately 11:40 p.m., the above victim was shot while he and his wife were taking pictures of the snow in the parking lot of the Walnut Bend Apartments complex located at 9944 Walnut Street. He died later on March 5, 2015, at a local hospital.
