St. Patrick’s Day Parade Road Closures

St. Paddys Day

The City of Dallas will play host to the 36th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 14, 2015. This family friendly parade and festival kicks off at 11:00 a.m. in the 6700 block of Greenville Avenue at Blackwell Street. It concludes at 3:00 p.m. and the streets will reopen immediate after the clean-up crew completes the route.

More than 100,000 spectators and participants are estimated to be on and around Greenville Avenue this Saturday. Remember, there will be increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic, so keep your children and pets in close proximity. Parking will be limited, therefore public transportation and carpooling is encouraged. There will be a family zone in the Meadows Building parking lot. A Brew Fest will take place in the Office Max parking lot and a Mavs event on the CVS parking lot. There will also be food trucks on site.

Have fun. Be safe. Drink responsibly.

The road closures are as follows:

  • Southbound Greenville Avenue between Park Lane and Mockingbird Lane, from 9:00 a.m. –  2:30 p.m.
  •  Northbound Greenville will close at 10:00 a.m. and reopen immediately after the parade ends and Greenville Avenue has been cleaned of all trash.
  •  Southbound Matilda (west side of street) will be closed from Milton to Sand Hurst for employee parking from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
