DPD Pet of the Week – Lucy

Officer FloresThe Dallas Police Department and Dallas Animal Services have teamed up to feature a “Pet of the Week”. Each week we will feature a pet that is up for adoption. We would like to encourage everyone to “Adopt, Don’t Shop”.

Our first “Pet of the Week” is Lucy #A871661.
She is a 1 year old spayed female pit bull mix. She’s been the Dallas Animal Services care since early January. She’s spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, housebroken, and family-ready. Sweet, friendly, loves people. Because she has been with Dallas Animal Services so long, her adoption fee is waived. She’s available at Dallas Animal Services, 1818 N. Westmoreland, Dallas, 75212. Their hours are 11 am to 6:30 pm Mon-Sat and 12 noon until 5 pm on Sunday.

Pictured with our Pet of the Week is Officer Diana V. Flores who is currently assigned to the Recruiting Unit.

“Lucy is an adorable dog and great around people. She will make a great pet. Please make sure she goes to a great home.” Officer Diana V. Flores
