On April 2, 2014, at approximately 6:00 pm, three black males were involved in a verbal altercation at the Oasis Park apartments located at 3035 E. Ledbetter Dr., Dallas, Texas. The altercation quickly escalated when two of the males produced handguns which resulted in a shootout. The victim, Kierra Robinson, B/F/19, was shot as a result of the gunfire, and at this time, it does not appear that she was an intended target of the shooters. One of the individuals involved in the altercation has been identified while the other two identities are unknown at this time. While investigating this offense, detectives have obtained physical descriptions of the unidentified individuals. It is believed that they are from New Orleans, Louisiana. Witnesses stated that the suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a small newer model burgundy SUV. This offense is documented on case number 72932-2015.
