Overnight ATM Offenses

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify multiple suspects who are responsible for extensive property damage and offenses related to ATMs.

  • On Friday, June 12, 2015, at about 3:24 a.m., a Business Burglary occurred at the Family Dollar, located at 9243 Skillman Street, B257.  This offense is documented on case #133616-2015.  Three masked, gloved, hooded suspects backed a black extended cab Chevrolet truck with a diamond plate tool box in the bed into the front of this business.  The vehicle struck the safe, moving the safe a couple of feet.  The vehicle attempts to move the safe again.  The suspects get out of the vehicle and attempt to load the safe into the vehicle. Suspects are unsuccessful and abort offense. Suspects spent approximately 2 minutes at this location.
  • On Friday, June 12, 2015, at about 4:40 a.m., three masked, gloved, hooded suspects throw a brick through the glass door of the Shell Gas Station located at 8207 S. Hampton Road, B744.  This offense is documented on case #133620-2015.  An employee is inside the store during this offense.  The employee flees to the back of the store and calls police.  The three suspects enter and run to the ATM.  The suspects attempt to remove the ATM from the store.  The ATM is damaged.  Suspects spend 1 to 2 minutes inside this location.  ATM is not taken.  Employee is uninjured.  Suspects abort offense and flee.
  • On Friday, June 12, 2015, at about 5:40 a.m., the same vehicle used in the Family Dollar offense arrives at the Rustic Restaurant located at 3656 Howell Street, B124.  This offense is documented on case #133629-2015.  The vehicle circles the parking lot and drives (front-end) into the entrance of this location.  At some point the vehicle gets stuck.  The vehicle backs out and drives through once more.  Vehicle backs up and stops.  Two masked, gloved, hooded suspects get out and attempt to remove the ATM.  Suspects spent approximately 2 minutes at the location.  Suspects are unsuccessful and abort offense.
