UPDATE  @ 6:00 pm 08/09/2015:  Mr. Thornton has been located safe.

The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Critical Missing Person. Kevin Peter Thornton was last seen on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at approximately 4:00 p.m., walking from his residence in the 5300 block of Fleetwood Oak Avenue, Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Thornton is described as a White male with a DOB of 6/30/1943, 5’08” tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey polo shirt and blue jeans. Mr. Thornton may have on set of dementia and could be in need of medical care.
