On August 31, 2015, Dallas police officers responded to a burglary in progress call in the 100 block of East Saner Avenue. Upon arrival, witnesses ran up to officers and directed them to the location where the suspects were running. The officers immediately put their police skills to work! They set up a perimeter, and called for more backup officers including K-9. Upon arrival of the K-9 officers, they were able to sniff out the scene and track down the suspects.
Kudos to the K-9 and the officers for their quick response and team work! The suspects were taken into custody, issued a felony warrant, and placed in Lew Sterrett Jail with their bail amounts totaling over $100,000.
