DPD’s Pet of the Week is Hopper A908500. Hopper is a 1-1/2 year old Lab/Basset mix who has been in the care of Dallas Animal Services since September 15, 2015. This cute little guy isn’t a big dog, but he weighs in about 45 lbs. Dallas Animal Services is running a special right now on dogs over 25 lbs, Hopper’s adoption fee is just $25. His neuter, vaccination and microchip are included with the adoption.
Something NEW this week is Feline Friday! We will now be featuring a cat that is available for adoption. This week’s cat is Shadow! Shadow is a stunning 1-1/2 year old Russian Blue mix. She was surrendered by her owner in late August. She’s smart, social, and affectionate. Because she’s been in the care of Dallas Animal Services more than 14 days, her adoption fee is waived. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her ID# is A905707.
Let’s help find Hopper and Shadow a Furrever Home. You can meet them both at Dallas Animal Services. They are available for adoption at Dallas Animal Services main location, 1818 N. Westmoreland, 75212. They are open 11 am to 6:30 pm Monday-Saturday and 12 noon until 5 pm on Sunday. Pictured with Hopper and Shadow is Reserve Officer Michael Freeman who is assigned to the Fusion Unit.
