On October 28, 2015, Northwest Patrol Division Neighborhood Police Officer (NPO) Brian Nolff reported to the Sergeant Roger Rudloff, the evenings Northwest Patrol Division Deployment sergeant, that the Home Depot, locate at 6110 Lemmon Avenue had been experiencing a rash of nightly thefts by the same suspects. The value of property that the suspects managed to take totaled in the thousands. For the next two nights, Sgt. Rudloff and three of his Deployment officers, J. Eggleston, E. Masonheimer, and T. Peterson conducted surveillance on the business.
On October 30, 2015 the deployment officers observed the three suspects in the act of committing yet another theft at the location. The three suspects were quickly arrested and taken into custody.
The manager at Home Depot sent our Northwest officers the following message:
“Great thanks to you and your team for such a swift response. We knew the Dallas Police Department would look into the situation, but this truly exceeded all of our expectations. Again, on behalf of our store and our company, many thanks!”
Many thanks to Officer Nolff for bringing this information to the Northwest Division Deployment Unit, and to many thanks to the Northwest Deployment team for the expeditious response and resolution.
Great job done by all the officers involved!
