Press Conference: Police Searching for Aggravated Robbery Suspects

Update 12-11-2015 9:53 am: Officers recovered the victim’s stolen Volkswagon in the 4200 block of Kostner Avenue. The investigation continues.

Last night, December 9, 2015 at about 10:30 p.m., a female victim, 28 years old, reported that she was backing out of a parking spot at the Green Haven Apartments located at 8690 Virginia Parkway in McKinney, Texas when a when a blue 2009 Dodge Charger, Texas license FLL-5292, pulled up behind her.  This vehicle was previously reported stolen in an aggravated robbery in Dallas on December 8, 2015.  A suspect, described as a black male in dark clothing, approached her driver window, pointed a handgun at her, and told her to move over to the passenger seat. The suspect got into the driver seat and drove away in the victim’s vehicle with the victim sitting inside.  A second Black male suspect, driving the suspect vehicle followed the victim’s vehicle.

According to the victim, throughout the early hours of December 10th, the suspects drove her to several ATM’s and businesses where they either forced her to make withdrawals or escorted her into the business and forced her to make purchases.

The suspects drove the victim to the 1600 block of North Cockrell Hill Road where a male was at the ATM.  The suspects exited their respective vehicles and approached the male on foot.  The male observed them approaching with a gun and jumped into his vehicle and fled.  One of the suspects fired a shot at the male as he drove off. The male was not injured.

The suspects then drove the victim to Oak Cliff Donuts located at 2402 S. Hampton Boulevard.  Both suspects entered the business, leaving the victim in the vehicle. Once inside, the suspects struck one customer in the head with a gun and demanded money from the cash register at gunpoint eventually also taking the customer’s wallet.

Shortly thereafter, the suspects released the victim in the 2300 block of W. Illinois where she called for police.

The suspects and vehicles are more fully described as:

Suspect Vehicle: (Stolen)  blue 2009 Dodge Charger (Shelby), Texas License FLL-5292

Victim Vehicle: (Stolen)  black Volkswagen CC, 4 door Sedan, Texas License FJX-9806

Suspect 1:  BM 5’7,  stocky  build, late 20’s – early 30’s,  light skinned complexion,  no tattoos,

                   bruising below one eye, 2” scar above elbow/side of one of his arms, fresh stitches or

                   cut across lips, wearing a black t-shirt, black vest, black pants, gold chain, black

                   wrist watch, black leather gloves, and a red bandanna over his face.

 Suspect 2:  B/M, 5’2 – 5’4, early 20’s, skinny build, light skinned complexion, short hair, a

                   single gold tooth, wearing a pinky ring, all black clothing with a white cloth covering

                   his face.
