Capital Murder Suspect Sought

Update: December 16, 2015 @ 10:45 a.m.

On November 5, 2015, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the victim, Cecil William, was shot at 1551 E. Woodin Boulevard during the commission of a robbery.  Mr. Williams was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.  During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Timothy Stanfield Black male 37 and other accomplices were responsible for Mr. Williams’s death.  Suspect Stanfield is at large. Bond is set at $100,000.00.

Update: December 8, 2015 @ 9:00 a.m.

On November 5, 2015, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Cecil Williams was shot at 1551 E. Woodin Blvd during the commission of a robbery. Mr. Williams was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.  During the course of the investigation, it was determined that L.J. Toliver B/M 31 and other accomplices were responsible for Mr. Williams death. Toliver, who is currently in jail on unrelated charges, will be charged with Capital Murder.  His bond is set at $100,000.00. 

Update: November 20, 2015 @ 4:45 p.m. 

We would like to announce the capture of Ashley Ware B/F 21 for the Capital Murder of Cecil Williams that occurred on November 5, 2015, at 1551 E. Woodin Blvd. here in Dallas. She was arrested in Amarillo, Texas on November 19, 2015.

We would like to thank the family and community for their patience and we would also like to thank the Detectives who diligently worked to solve the murder of Mr. Williams.

Update: November 13, 2015 @ 10:45 a.m. 

Two additional PCA’s have been added regarding the home invasion robbery at 1551 E. Woodin Blvd. in which the home owner, Cecil Williams,  was  shot and killed. Suspects Equalyn Davis and Obra London are in custody.  Ashley Ware is still at large.

The complainant, Cecil Williams, B/M 44 was shot and killed by the suspect, Obra Louis London B/M 27, as the suspect was committing an Aggravated Robbery at the residence of the complainant. The suspect was identified by witnesses that were also at the residence.  Suspect London is still at large.  This homicide is documented on Case Number 257610-2015.  Please see the Probable Cause Arrest Affidavit below for more details.
