On December 20, 2015, at 9:24 pm, Dallas Police received a call from witnesses regarding a dead body in the 9900 block of Hurley Way. Officers arrived and found a deceased male in the home that appeared to have been stabbed to death. The witnesses at the offense location were questioned by detectives.
On December 6, 2015, the witnesses stated that they took arrestee Marcos Andres Jimenez Latin male 18, to a medical facility to treat a deep laceration to his finger that the arrestee stated he had cut on a fence. After the arrestee had been treated and released, he told the witnesses that he had killed someone and if they told anyone, he would kill them. The witnesses did not believe Mr. Jimenez and didn’t take his statement seriously.
On December 18, the arrestee asked the witnesses how long a person would live if they were stabbed in the neck. The arrestee showed one of the witnesses a bag that contained prescription medication and jewelry. The witness took a photo of the prescription bottles with a cell phone. There was a name and an address on the prescriptions.
On December 20, 2015, the witnesses went to the 9900 Hurley Way to verify arrestee Jimenez’s story.
The witnesses found the rear door open and a large amount of blood in the kitchen. The witnesses entered and found a male victim deceased in a hallway. The witnesses left the home and called 911. The victim has not been positively identified at this time.
Mr. Jimenez was taken into custody this morning and is being held on a charge of Capital Murder with a $1,000,000 bond.
