She was immediately accosted by a Latin male suspect who was hiding behind the front door awaiting her entry.  The suspect pointed a silver pistol at her and forced her to sit in a chair. The suspect tied her to the chair where she remained while he continued to gather property from her home. The suspect loaded electronics, credit cards, and a cell phone into the victim’s car and then drove off in the victim’s car.  The victim freed herself and phoned police. The victim was not injured.

Crime Scene Response Unit personnel lifted a latent finger print from a window pane that the suspect pried out to gain entry. The latent fingerprint was identified to Andres Daniel Vera, L/M/08-19-1994.  On December 22nd  a warrant for Aggravated Robbery was issued for Mr. Vera.  Mr. Vera was arrested at his home on the same afternoon.
