On January 4, 2016 at about 1:40pm, patrol officers responded to a disturbance call regarding individuals fighting around 200 Stoneport Drive. The first officer to arrive on scene observed one juvenile that appeared to have been involved in the fight.  The officer attempted to detain the juvenile in the roadway. Other suspects that were involved in the disturbance got into a nearby vehicle and drove towards the officer and juvenile.  The vehicle struck both the officer and the juvenile.  The officer was transported to Baylor Hospital in stable condition. The juvenile that was being detained by the officer was taken to Parkland Hospital also in stable condition. Officers located a vehicle possibly related to the offense and are working to identify suspects.  We will release additional details as it becomes appropriate to do so.
