Robbery Suspects Arrested in Offense at 700 Wood Street

On January 13, 2016, just before 8:00 p.m., a male victim was sitting on a bench at 700 Wood Street when a Black male suspect and a Latin female suspect approached the victim.  The  Black male suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The victim surrendered his cash, the male suspect passed the stolen cash to the female suspect, and both fled on foot. 

Responding officers arrived within three minutes and broadcasted both suspect descriptions over the police radio. Other officers located both suspects at a nearby DART station. The male suspect was found to be in possession of the handgun and the victim’s stolen cash.  Both suspects were arrested and interviewed by robbery detectives. Both suspects admitted to their involvement in the offense.

Dewayne Taylor BM/10-08-84 and Ivory Delores Wilks L/F/08-12-96, are in the Dallas County Jail charged with Aggravated Robbery, a first degree felony.
