On January 5, 2015, another victim was sexually assaulted inside of a red Mercury Grand Marquis also with a partial license plate of “CW”, in the 9000 block of Whitehurst Drive,. Shortly after the this offense, a Crime Stoppers bulletin was generated and broadcasted to local media outlets seeking a person of interest.

The DNA evidence collected during the victim’s sexual assault exam was entered into the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) database, which subsequently resulted in a CODIS match (case #3891-2015). DNA test results have linked Williams, Latorien DeShiek (aka Williams, Latoirien), B/M/ 03/16/1979, to two sexual assault cases.

Based on the similarities between these two offenses and the CODIS match in the 2015 case, Dallas police detectives were able to file additional charges on Williams relating to the Aggravated Sexual Assault in 2014. Neither of the victims knew arrestee Williams.

Williams was already in the Dallas County Jail on charges of Sexual Assault of a Child, which occurred in September of 2015. The additional Sexual Assault and Aggravated Sexual Assault warrants were added with $300,000 bond.
