Murder on Pacesetter Drive:
On January 29, 2016, at about 2:44 p.m., victim Lawrence Lise, B/M 33, was shot and killed by Suspect Romaun Wilkerson B/M 34. The victim and his brother went to the suspect’s home and got into a dispute regarding repairs to a vehicle owned by the victim. The suspect also shot the victim’s brother once. The victim’s brother was transported to Baylor Hospital in good condition. The suspect fled the location in his personal vehicle. Suspect Wilkerson is pictured below and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Bail is set at $100,000.00.
Arrests made in Child Sex Trafficking Investigation:
This investigation was initiated by the Dallas Police Department’s High Risk Victims and Trafficking Squad and involved a female child victim who was 15 years of age. The victim and a witness were contacted by the Suspects Osorio and Rodas on Facebook, lured to a meeting location, and eventually forced into acts of prostitution with at least 6 males per day at a location in Dallas. The offenses occurred from December 5 to December 19, 2015. The victim and witnesses were able to escape the location. The victim was later taken into custody on a Runaway charge by Dallas Police and was interviewed by medical professionals. The victim out cried to the sexual assault and we initiated an investigation
On January 28, 2016, the Dallas Police Department arrested Rafael Antonio Rodas, H/M 20, in connection with an investigation related to child sex trafficking. On January 29, 2016, a second arrest was made of Mike Osorio, H/M 20, related to this investigation. A search warrant was executed in the 400 block of N. Patton in connection to this investigation. Evidence supporting the victim’s statement of the sexual assault and the human trafficking was found at the location. Members of the Southwest Patrol Division Deployment and CRT squads, as well as the U.S. Marshals Service, assisted in the apprehension and warrants on this case.

Arrestee Rodas was arrested on Thursday January 28, 2016 and placed in Lew Sterrett Jail for Trafficking in Persons/Child F/1, Compelling Prostitution/Child F/1, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity F/2, with a $35,000 bond each charge.
Arrestee Osorio was arrested last night and placed in Lew Sterrett Jail for Sexual Assault/Child F/2, Trafficking in Persons/Child F/1, Compelling Prostitution/Child F/1, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity F/2, with a $150,000 bond on each charge.
