UPDATE:
On February 3, 2016, at 2:36 a.m., a black male suspect wearing a white hoodie and black pants entered the Residence Inn by Marriott located at 10333 North Central Expressway. The suspect jumped over the counter and pointed a gun at the employee. The employee stepped back while the suspect removed cash from the register. The suspect then walked up to a visitor at the hotel, and while holding the gun to his side, demanded her watch. The suspect fled the hotel with the cash and the watch.
At 2:46 a.m. the same suspect approached the locked front door to the Stay America Hotel located at 12121 Coit Road. The suspect smashed the glass out of the front door, entered the hotel and made his way to the vacant office. The suspect located a key to the register, opened the register, and stole the cash. An employee who observed this offense on a closed circuit television telephoned 9-1-1. This was reported as a burglary on case #027050-2016.
North Central patrol officers responded to the call and observed the suspect walk from the Stay America Hotel and enter a silver Chevrolet Impala. Officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle but the suspect vehicle fled and officers followed. The suspect vehicle was disabled by spike strips deployed by Richardson Police Officers and came to a stop at 15500 El Estado in Dallas.
Joshua Douglas Wesson, B/M/01-19-85, jumped from the front passenger seat and fled on foot. He was captured a short distance away by a canine officer. Erica Nicole Bonner, B/F/11-05-84, stepped from the driver seat and surrendered.
Mr. Wesson and Ms. Bonner were transported to police headquarters where they were interviewed by detectives. Mr. Wesson admitted to his involvement in the Aggravated Robbery of the Residence Inn and to robbing an individual inside the hotel as he was leaving. He went on to admit to having committed the burglary of the Stay America Hotel.
Additionally Mr. Wesson admitted to his involvement in 5 Aggravated Robberies that occurred on February 1st and February 2, 2016. These offenses where highlighted in a February 2nd Dallas Police press release.

Mr. Wesson is in the Dallas County Jail charged with multiple Aggravated Robberies, Evading Arrest, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and a Probation Violation. Ms. Bonner is in the Dallas County Jail charged with 2 Aggravated Robberies and Evading Arrest.

On February 1, 2016, unknown suspects robbed the LaQuintaInn at 7815 LBJ Freeway at gunpoint.
On February 2, 2016, in the span of one hour these suspects may have robbed 6 individuals and the Ramada Inn at 8102 LBJ Freeway at gunpoint. They were observed fleeing in a dark colored Chevrolet Tahoe.

The Dallas Police Department is investigating 6 separaterobberies of individual victims and two business robberies that Police believe to have been committed by the same suspects captured in this video. The suspects are described as:
- Suspect 1: B/M/ 20-25 years old, 6’ 0” tall, weighing 190 pounds, wearing a white hoodie, and black beanie with a pom pom on top.
- Suspect 2: B/M/ 20-25 years old, 6’ 0” tall, weighing 210 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, white shorts, and black beanie
- Suspect 3: B/M/ 18-22 years old, 5’ 7” tall, weighing 150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, jeans, and a black beanie
- Suspect Vehicle: Dark colored Chevrolet Tahoe
