Downtown Community Leader, Tanya Ragan, wanted to find a way to show her appreciation for the Dallas Police officers who have been working hard to make downtown a safer place to live and work, so she decided to partner with Mehdi Pezeshki, owner of the Purple Onion, to provide a meal for officers on each shift.
Community members and officers came together on Wednesday afternoon to mingle, eat pizza, and discuss the progress being made downtown. Tanya Ragan made a point to greet every officer and say “Thank You.” Ragan wanted to meet the officers face to face and let them know that they are appreciated. The Dallas Police Department is always thankful for the support of the community and will continue to work hard on the Quality of Life Initiative.
