DPD’s Pets of the Week – Mercedes and Blackie

DPD’s Pet of the Week is Mercedes, #A927328.  Mercedes is 2 years old and weighs 40 lbs.  She is a Blue Tick and White Australian Cattle Dog mix. Mercedes is micro-chipped and spayed.  She is very shy, well mannered, and friendly girl. Her adoption fee is $85.00 and  she has been in the care of Dallas Animal Services since February 2, 2016.

This week’s cat is Blackie, #A928123. Blackie is a 6 year old Domestic Short hair. He weighs about 14 lbs, is also micro-chipped, and neutered. Blackie is a loving friendly guy who is also declawed. He has been in the care of Dallas Animal Services since February 9, 2016. The adoption fee for Snow is also $55.00.

Let’s help find Mercedes and Blackie a Furrever home. You can meet them both at the Dallas Animal Services’ main location, 1818 N. Westmoreland, 75212, where they are available for adoption.  The hours are from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday-Saturday and 12 noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Pictured with Mercedes and Blackie is Officer Gabriel Ortiz who is assigned to the Northeast Patrol Division Neighborhood Police Unit.
