Update:

During the investigation of the Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault which occurred on Swiss Avenue on February 28, 2016, detectives recognized the suspect in that offense from the police sketch in 2014, Brandon Alexander Tarrant B/M 09/15/1989, matched the description given by the elderly victim in the October 2014 offense. 

On October 9, 2014, an elderly female was inside her residence on Ashbrook Road when an unknown black male made entry into her home and sexually assaulted her.  In November 2014, a sketch of a person of interest was released to the public seeking information on the identity of the individual depicted in the sketch.  Numerous tips were received from citizens and followed up on by detectives; however, each person of interest was eliminated as a suspect.  This Aggravated Sexual Assault offense is documented on Case Number 243112-2014. When questioned about this prior offense, Tarrant admitted to his involvement.

Tarrant is currently in the Dallas County Jail on one charge of Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault and one charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault, with a bond amount totaling $200,000.00

Detectives are seeking information on the pictured Person of Interest regarding a sexual assault that occurred in October 2014.  The offense occurred in the 4800 block of Ashbrook Road and is documented on Incident Number 243112-2014. 

The Person of Interest is described as a Black male with dreadlocks, 5’8″, having a muscular build, and between 30-39 years old.
