On March 6 at about 11:50AM Officers responded to a call about human remains being found under the bridge in the 2900 Block of Dowdy Ferry Road in an unincorporated area of Dallas County.  The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office was notified and took custody of the remains. 

The remains were found in the same general area where searches for Marisol Espinosa have been conducted; however, we are unable to confirm whether or not the remains belong to Ms. Espinosa.   This incident will be reported as an unexplained death until the ME makes positive identification and determines cause of death.  We will release additional information as it becomes available and appropriate to do so.
