On Friday, March 11, 2016, at a 3:45 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to an accident at 3500 North Buckner Boulevard. The pedestrian was crossing the street in the middle of the block, from the east side to the west side. The pedestrian failed to yield the right of way to the motor vehicle, a Ford Mustang. The driver of the Mustang struck the pedestrian, and the driver failed to stop and render aid. The driver of the Mustang fled northbound on Buckner Boulevard. The pedestrian, a 13-year-old boy, was transported to Children’s Hospital. There is no suspect information at this time, however above is a picture of the suspect vehicle.
