Operation Blue Shield Teams Up With Chick-Fil-A

Dallas Police officers showed up to support Operation Blue Shield this morning in the WFAA plaza outside of the American Airlines Center. Mrs. Toni Brinker Pickens, Founder of Operation Blue Shield, and Mr. Jeff White, Chick-fil-a restaurant owner, discussed the importance of Operation Blue Shield and the upcoming Chick-fil-a Race for the Community on WFAA’s News 8 Daybreak show.

Operation Blue Shield creates and funds programs to bring community members and law enforcement together in an effort to build positive infrastructure changes. Their goal is to unify citizens and law enforcement groups to resolve public safety issues and build strong communities.

The race is on March 26, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. and begins at Dallas City Hall. There will be a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run. All of the proceeds from the race will benefit the mission of Operation Blue Shield.

The Dallas Police Department is so thankful to Mrs. Toni Brinker Pickens, Mr. Jeff White, and Operation Blue Shield for their continued support.

Be sure to come join us on March 26 for the Chick-fil-a Race for the Community! Can’t wait to see you there!
