The Dallas County Medical Examiner has positively identified the victims from the double homicide at 1180 N. Masters from this morning. Damontre Deshun Sweeney B/M 17yrs old and Jabri Jones B/M 18yrs old, were found shot inside a vehicle at that location.   Homicide detectives continue to actively investigate this case and anyone with information is asked to call Dallas police at 214.671.3661.  Callers who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 214.373.TIPS (8477).

On March 19, 2016, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Dallas Police Officers responded to a shooting call at 1180 N. Masters Drive. Upon the officers’ arrival, they found two male victims who appear to be in their late teens or early 20’s shot inside of a vehicle. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to Baylor hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. We will release the names of both victims when they have been identified and next of kin notifications have been made and will provide more information as it becomes available and appropriate to do so.
