On April 19, 2016, at approximately 2:20 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance call near the West End DART train station at 700 Ross Avenue. A fight began between the victim and the suspect over money owed to the victim by the suspect. The victim attempted to mace the suspect, and then took a swing at him. The suspect responded by producing a knife and stabbing the victim several times in the torso. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The suspect is described as a black male, between the ages of 25-30, 5’9”, with a medium build, who goes by the nickname “Kilo.” On the day of the offense, he was wearing a black shirt with white lettering that reads “NO ONE GOES QUIETLY,” black pants, and sandals. He is thought to frequently loiter near the area of the assault.
