Homicide Information Wanted

Updated June 13, 2016: 

On June 12, 2016,  it was discovered that a juvenile was responsible for the murder of Mr. Jackson that occurred on June 9, 2016, at 326 Ezekial Avenue. That juvenile was already in the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center on an unrelated charge. A murder warrant was issued for him on June 12, 2016. That juvenile is currently being held in the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center on the unrelated charge and on the murder charge with a bond of $1,000,000.00.

On June 9, 2016, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 326 Ezekial Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Jaylon Jackson, an 18-year-old Black male, injured from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Baylor Hospital where he later died from his injuries. The Dallas Police Department is asking that anyone with information about this murder contact the Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3661 or Detective Tim Stewart at (214) 671-3635.
