Update June 14, 2016:

On June 13, 2016, the Dallas Police Department issued a Capital Murder warrant for Byron Dennard Reed, B/M 23-years-old related to the murder of Mr. Sparks that occurred on May 30, 2016, at 8312 S. Lancaster Road.  With the assistance of the United States Marshal North Texas Fugitive Task Force, Arrestee Reed was arrested on June 14, 2016 and placed in jail on a $250,000 bond.

Update June 13, 2016:

On June, 13, 2016, Michelle Speed, B/F 28-yeats-old, turned herself in at Dallas Police headquarters where she was arrested for murder on a $250,000 bond. During the course of the investigation, detectives also discovered that  Byron Dennard Reed, B/M 23-years-old, was responsible for the murder of Mr. Sparks. On June 13, 2016, an arrest warrant was issued for Suspect Reed. The suspect is currently at large. The Dallas Police department is asking that anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Byron Dennard Reed contact the Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3661 or Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS (8477).

On May 30, 2016, David Haskell Sparks, a  61-year-old White male, was found deceased from a gunshot wound outside his hotel room at 8312 S. Lancaster Road. Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Michelle Le Speed was responsible for the murder of Mr. Sparks.

On June 3, 2016, an arrest warrant was issued for Suspect Speed. The suspect is currently at large.

The Dallas Police Department is asking that anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Michelle Le Speed  contact the Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3661 or Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS (8477).

The investigation has revealed the pictured suspect vehicle was involved in this offense. The vehicle is described as a silver four door sedan with tinted windows.

On May 30, 2016, at approximately 11:24 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to a shooting call at 8312 S. Lancaster Road. The victim, David Haskell Sparks, a 61-year-old White male, was found outside his hotel room deceased from a gunshot wound.
